Our motorhomes are also used for cost effective accommodation at events and exhibitions.

At the start of November 2007 Kevin Alderton, Double Blind Speed Skiing World Record Holder along with his team and Sponsors Masterfoods Mars Milk collected their Luxury 7 Berth Rimor E6 Motorhome from our East London Depot, in Romford.

This was the start of a 7-week journey to Europe to compete in several competitions and World Record Attempts, with most of the events being held in Austria.

BBC Worldwide & BBC Sport - The World Famous BBC Bloggernaut

In August 2007 Scenic Getaway Motorhome Hire was selected by BBC Television to provide them with a Luxury Motorhome for 8 weeks to cover the Rugby World Cup in France, the Motorhome we provided was the latest 2007 Rimor Europeo E6 which was adapted to accommodate the BBC Radio 5 Live on the Road Mobile Studio as well as the need for a Internet connection for the Reporters Daily Blogs.

This was achieved via the Satellite Dish the BBC installed on to the roof of the Motorhome along with the help of the Scenic Getaway Mechanics.

Turisas Metal Band

Turisas are a Finnish viking metal band founded in 1997 by Mathias Nygård and Jussi Wickström and named after an ancient Finnish god of war.
Turisas combine elements of folk metal and power metal with Finnish viking music. The album title Battle Metal has given rise to the term "battle metal" being used as a description of folk metal.

In March 2008 Turisas arrived in the UK for the start of there Uk Tour which would cover 14 Cities in 16 Days, and the Scenic Getaway Team where on hand to provide them with a Luxury 7 Berth Motorhome for there hetic Tour requirements.

Television Production Company

In 2007 Scenic Getaway provided a 7 berth Luxury Motorhome to our client as a mobile on site make-up and costume vehicle, which made there Filming schedule in London less time consuming as normal. Due to the fact that once they had finished shooting for the day or evening they could just start the engine and move the Motor home to the next shoot Location.

Our client has filmed many famous program's and adverts including a commercial with a Car made of Cake.

Major International Bank

Once again the Team at Scenic Getaway Motorhome Hire, would like to welcome back our Corporate Team of International Bankers. The Corporate Team will be taking Two of our 7 Berth Motorhomes for there 2008 Charity Challenge, Our two Motorhomes will be used as support vehicles and accomodation during the Week Event.
